Brighter Horizons Residential Services, Inc.

Our goal of improving the abilities and skills of our individuals is reflected by the development of our Skills for Life Day Habilitation program.  We are developing this program with a focus on skill building for our consumers through various activites, classes, and outings.  We are collaborating with our consumers to create a diverse set of activities that are not only appealing to them, but also give them different opportunities outside of this program to go in whatever directions they so choose.  We want to give them the chance to participate in areas they are already interested in as well as expanding their horizons with new ones as well.

 Skills for Life hours

Monday thru Friday 10Am -3Pm

Upcoming closing dates are as follows;

President's Day....  Febuary 15

Easter Break.... April 2 & 5

Memorial Day.....  May 31

Any other days will include snow days when driving conditions will not permit clients to be safely transported to the the center.

 Mission Statement

Brighter Horizon’s Residential Services, Inc. developed Skills for Life to assist our consumers in gaining confidence and skills necessary to be productive at home, on the job site, and in the community.  By providing fun educational activities and encouraging our consumers to learn new skills as well as socialize among their peers.

Skills for Life goals are to teach consumers about the owning and operating of a business through sustainable products and quality care. Skills for Life will have quality trained staff to work hands on with each consumer based on their own individual needs.
